Music and mathematics have always been transcultural. They emerge through subcutaneous epistemic currents and errant paths, through whispered messages, cultural appropriation, colonial violence, sacred channels, drugs and experiments, repurposings, in séances and science fiction, ethnomathematics, and between test and protest.

This seminar attempts to make these complexities and polyphonies visible and audible, translating them into a more comprehensive theoretical framework—one that questions and rethinks conventional historiographies and theories. In doing so, it brings to light and necessitates perspectives from the most diverse corners of knowledge to explore the interconnections between music, mathematics, and artificial intelligence from past to present.
